There are 7 legendary stops on our journey! We’ll stroll beside sky-high stone buildings, pause at legendary totem poles, and even admire a snazzy old fountain where some say the city’s first “splash” of history began. Imagine the smell of fresh coffee drifting from nearby cafes, the sound of footsteps on old brick roads, and the distant rumble of trains that have been rolling through here for over a century. I promise, you’re in for a treat-though sadly, not the edible kind. Sorry, I’m a guide, not a bakery.
Here’s how it works: As you wander, your app will chime in and I’ll start chatting as you reach each landmark. (If for some reason I get shy and don’t introduce a stop, just tap “play” on the app to nudge me.) Lost? No need to use a compass-the map in your app will guide you back on track. And if you have burning questions or wild curiosity, type away at any stop in the chat section. I love a good pop quiz.
Just a quick word of wisdom: Pioneer Square is lively and mostly low-key, so you don’t need any special dress code. But do wear comfy shoes and keep your street smarts-watch your step on the old bricks, keep an eye on your belongings, and be aware of your surroundings as you soak in the sights.
If you’re not already standing in front of the impressive Bank of California Building, make your way there to kick off our adventure. The legends await-and so do I! Ready to dive into the stories that made Seattle? Let’s get started!
