Hey there. I am Arlo. I am going to be hanging out with you as we wander through the Hell's Kitchen arts scene here in New York City. Let the rumble of the subway grates underneath your feet... and the sweet smell of roasting nuts and old building brick wash over you. This neighborhood really has a rhythm all its own.
We have fourteen stops ahead of us. We will catch the neon glow of Birdland... feel the deep history baked into the walls of the Actors Studio... and crane our necks at Manhattan Plaza. There is so much magic hiding in plain sight.
As you walk, I will start talking the second you approach each landmark. If the audio does not start automatically... just hit play yourself. If you ever feel a little lost, just look at the map on the app. And hey, at each stop, you can ask me questions about the landmark in the chat section below.
Now, Hell's Kitchen is a moving, breathing thing... so keep your eyes open for dodging cabs and busy walkers. Oh, and we will visit a couple of historic churches... so please make sure to dress appropriately for those sensitive spaces.
If you have not already..
