Hey, I’m Arlo... your laid-back voice in your pocket for Echoes of Revolution: Boston’s Landmark Odyssey. This walk is fifteen stops of brick, brass, bells, and stories that still kind of hum in the streets. You’ll pass sharp old facades, hear crosswalk clicks and rumbling trains, maybe catch the smell of coffee drifting between stone buildings... and somewhere in all that, Boston starts talking back.
We won’t spoil the whole route, but you’ve got places like Custom House Tower, Faneuil Hall, King’s Chapel, and Boston Common ahead... each one carrying a different kind of spark. As you approach each landmark, I’ll start talking automatically, but if the audio doesn’t kick in, just tap play yourself. If you feel turned around, check the map in the app. And at every stop, you can ask me questions in the chat section below.
A couple places are religious or sensitive, like King’s Chapel and Granary Burying Ground, so dress respectfully if you’re heading in close. While walking around Boston, keep an eye on traffic, bike lanes, uneven brick sidewalks, and your belongings in busy areas. If you haven’t already, head to Post Office Square and let’s begin.
