The landmarks in every guidebook — and the tours that tell you what guidebooks don't.
Baltimore, the largest city in Maryland, was originally established in 1706 as a port to enhance the tobacco trade with Europe. The town itself was formally founded in 1729, when the Governor of Maryland signed an act allowing for its development at Whetstone Point, now known as Locust Point.
The city's name honors Cecil Calvert, the 2nd Baron Baltimore, an English peer and the colony's founding proprietor. The name "Baltimore" is derived from the Irish "Baile an Tí Mhóir," meaning "town of the big house," reflecting its roots and connections to Ireland.

This tour was such a great way to see the city. The stories were interesting without feeling too scripted, and I loved being able to explore at my own pace.
This was a solid way to get to know Brighton without feeling like a tourist. The narration had depth and context, but didn't overdo it.
Started this tour with a croissant in one hand and zero expectations. The app just vibes with you, no pressure, just you, your headphones, and some cool stories.
