Hello. I am Adam, and welcome to our Sibiu Cultural Gems tour. Take a moment to just soak it in... the faint aroma of roasted coffee mixing with the scent of old brick, and the gentle echo of footsteps bouncing off the colorful medieval facades.
We have twelve stops on our journey today. I will not give it all away, but we will explore strange old remedies at the Museum of the History of Pharmacy, look up at the soaring vaulted ceilings of the Catedrala Evanghelică din Sibiu, and eventually find our way to the grand Brukenthal National Museum.
As you approach each spot, I will automatically start telling you its story. If the app is feeling a little shy, you can manually click play. If these winding streets get you turned around, just look at the map on the app to find your bearings. And remember, you can always ask me questions about any landmark in the chat section below.
A quick bit of housekeeping. Because we will be checking out an active religious site at the cathedral, please make sure you dress appropriately, keeping your shoulders and knees covered out of respect. Also... keep an eye on your feet. The cobblestones around Sibiu are undeniably charming, but they love to trip up distracted wanderers.
Alright. If you have not already, head on over to our first stop at the Museum of the History of Pharmacy, and we will get this adventure started.
