We have fifteen stops on our journey today. I will not spoil everything, but you can definitely look forward to the imposing medieval presence of King John's Castle, the elegant art inside the Hunt Museum, and the towering stone spires of Saint Mary's Cathedral.
A few quick notes before we get moving. The audio will start automatically as you approach each landmark, but if the app decides to take a quick nap, you can always just hit play manually. If you feel turned around at any point, simply check the map on your screen to find your way. And if a particular spot catches your eye and you want to know more, you can ask me questions in the chat section directly below.
Since we will be stepping inside a couple of beautifully historic cathedrals today, please make sure your shoulders and knees are covered as a sign of respect. Also, please keep an eye on the traffic, and watch your step on those charming, but thoroughly unpredictable, street cobblestones. They look fantastic in photos but they are not always kind to wandering ankles.
If you have not already done so, go ahead and make your way to our very first stop, Limerick Colbert railway station, to begin the tour.
