Well, here we are. Stop number fifteen. Thomond Bridge. Take a moment to just look out over the River Shannon. It has a way of making you feel a little part of something much bigger.
We have covered a lot of ground together. From our starting point way back at Colbert Station to the ghostly echoes of the crowds at Markets Field. We took in the towering spires of Saint John's Cathedral and the ancient stones of Saint Mary's. We slowed down in the People's Park and Pery Square, soaking in the art, the history, and the local oddities at the museums and galleries.
We remembered the past at the nineteen sixteen memorial, felt the modern pulse of the city at the Belltable and Ormston House, and admired the incredible treasures at the Hunt Museum. And of course, we stood under the imposing walls of King John's Castle, right before finding ourselves here.
It is quite a journey. My feet are certainly feeling it, even if I am just a voice in your phone.
But really, I hope you have enjoyed getting to know this city. Limerick is not a place that shouts to get your attention. It just quietly invites you in, shows you its history, shares its art, and lets you decide for yourself. There is a real resilience here, mixed with an undeniable, quiet charm.
Thank you for letting me walk these streets with you. I am Adam, and it has been a genuine pleasure being your guide. Take your time here on the bridge... watch the water move for a while. And wherever your own journey takes you next, I hope you carry a little piece of Limerick's spirit with you. Safe travels.
