Hello and welcome to your 'Buenos Aires Audio Tour: Paths of Art and History in Palermo' adventure! My name is André, your passionate - and sometimes playful - digital guide, so get ready to walk and smile! Ready to explore? You're about to wander through the lively streets of Palermo, where every corner reveals a story, the scent of coffee, and sometimes even... a tango dancer gone astray!
At each stop, I'll tell you everything: architectural secrets, artist anecdotes, and juicy little stories... as long as you don't try to drag me into a tango dance, we'll get along just fine! For example, we'll start in front of the mysterious Tour de Bellini (be careful not to look for ice cream at the top...), then we'll dive into contemporary art at MALBA, or discover unusual places like the Automóvil Club Argentino (don't worry, no driver's license needed for this tour!).
How does it work? Easy! Approach a landmark, and I'll start talking. If I'm feeling shy and the audio doesn't begin, just click the play button. If you get lost - between two streets or in your thoughts - open the app's map to find your way.
At each stop, you can chat with me using the chat feature just below. Ask me all your questions, even the wildest ones - I love a challenge!
A few tips: there are no religious stops on this tour, so dress comfortably, but wear good shoes - between cobblestones and tricky sidewalks, your feet will thank you! Palermo is one of Buenos Aires' safest and liveliest neighborhoods, but, like anywhere, keep an eye on your belongings and instead enjoy the wonders around you: blooming jacarandas, colorful markets, and that atmosphere that makes the walls dance!
If you haven't already, head straight to the first stop, the Tour de Bellini, to begin. Ready? Let's go!
