Hi, I'm Adam. Welcome to our walk, the Vienna Audio Tour: Historic Center. I'll be your guide, and I promise we'll skip the boring lectures. Vienna reveals itself best through the stories of the people who lived, loved, and plotted intrigues here. Listen to the rhythmic clatter of hooves on the cobblestones, breathe in the aroma of strong coffee and sweet strudel that envelops these magnificent streets with their opulent imperial facades.
Twelve stops await us. We'll not only see the monumental Parliament Building but also immerse ourselves in the quiet of St. Peter's Church and feel the artistic spirit near the Vienna State Opera.
I'll start my narration automatically as soon as you approach the next location. If the technology decides to take a break, just press the play button. If you feel lost among these narrow streets, the map in the app will always help. Have questions at any of the stops? Write them in the chat below, and I'll be happy to answer.
Since we'll be entering several ancient churches, please make sure your clothing covers your shoulders and knees. While strolling through the Inner City, watch your step on the cobblestones and yield a little to carriages and swift cyclists.
If you're not there yet, head to our first stop, the Austrian Parliament Building, and we'll begin.
