Bellevue, nestled on the east side of Lake Washington in Washington State, has a rich history that dates back to its founding in the late 19th century. Originally inhabited by the Duwamish and Snoqualmie tribes, the area began to draw interest from settlers around 1869, primarily due to its fertile land and stunning natural beauty.

In 1889, the township was officially established as "Bellevue," derived from the French meaning "beautiful view," perfectly reflecting the gorgeous vistas seen from its hills overlooking the Seattle skyline and the shimmering waters of the lake.
