A few words on State College
State College
State College, Pennsylvania, traces its origins back to the early 19th century. The area began as a small agricultural community known as "Clearfield," founded in the late 1700s. The city was officially laid out in 1812 but gained momentum as the Pennsylvania State University established itself in the area in 1855. This monumental growth spurred the development of what we now know as State College.
