Wow, what an adventure we’ve had together! From our very first stop at the J. Scheidegger Center, all the way here to the Old St. Charles Bridge, you’ve followed stories, met some characters (the real ones and maybe a few I made up in my head), and seen how this city has changed over the years.
It’s amazing, isn’t it? Each building and street told us something new, whether it was about art, family, or what folks did for fun long ago. Remember Lindenwood Hall’s grand face? Or the little quirks of the Marten-Becker House? And who could forget the African Church and its spirit of hope? Even though we were just walking, in a way, we traveled through time together.
I hope you’ll carry a bit of St. Charles with you, not just in photos, but in your heart-and maybe a funny story or two for your friends. These streets aren’t just spots on a map. Now, they’re part of your story too.
Thanks for letting me tag along, and for laughing at my bad jokes. If you ever find yourself wandering here again, I’ll be right here, ready with more stories (and even worse puns). Until then, take care, and keep exploring. Who knows where your feet-and your curiosity-will take you next!
