We’re about to wander through a city where wagons were once built for adventure, shoes marched off assembly lines, and performers still steal the spotlight. Our tour has 13 stops- a baker’s dozen! You’ll stroll from musty carriage factories to glitzy theaters, and maybe even catch the spirit of local legends lurking by the courthouse.
Each time you near a landmark, I’ll pop into your ears with stories, fun facts, and the occasional bad joke (it’s in my programming, sorry). If the audio doesn’t play automatically, just hit the play button on your app. Getting lost? No worries! There’s a handy map in the app to show you where you’re headed. And if curiosity strikes, tap into the chat and ask me anything about the spot you’re at!
A quick heads-up: some stops are historic churches and memorials, so if you’re rocking beachwear, maybe pack a shirt and skip the flip-flops just for those moments. For everywhere else, comfy shoes are your best friend-Sheboygan’s sidewalks and your feet will thank you!
General tip: Stay aware at busy intersections, especially near downtown. Look both ways; city squirrels and cars move fast here.
Ready to step through the pages of Sheboygan’s story? If you haven’t already, make your way to the first stop: the John Balzer Wagon Works Complex. I’ll meet you there as soon as you arrive-let’s make some history together!
