Wow, look at us now-twelve amazing stops later! What a journey this has been. Think back for a second: we started at the Dutch Reformed Church, wandered through historic streets, peeked at grand old houses, and even shared a quiet moment in the Old Town Cemetery. Along the way, we discovered the big stories behind these walls-stories of hope, hard work, and dreams that shaped Newburgh.
I don’t know about you, but my imaginary feet are tired! Still, my heart feels pretty full. It’s funny how a city can seem like just another place until you walk it, listen to its stories, and let it surprise you. Maybe now, every time you pass by a historic building, you’ll remember there’s more to it than stone and wood-there are people, memories, and a piece of our shared past living inside.
Thank you for letting me be your guide today. It’s been such a pleasure touring Varick Homes and its treasures with you. I hope you feel as inspired and amazed as I do-maybe even a little more curious about the next story waiting around the corner.
So go on, keep exploring. And remember: history isn’t just behind us; you’re making it with every step. Take care, and see you on the next adventure!
