Well... look at us. We’ve walked through federal courtrooms, peered into high-rise boardrooms, and stood in the shadows of demolished churches. It’s a lot to take in. Muskogee didn’t just grow... it erupted. It went from a dust-kicking frontier outpost to a cosmopolitan dream almost overnight. You can still feel that frantic energy in the brickwork of the skyscrapers and the silence of these glorious old homes. But ambition always costs something, doesn't it? That unique, tri-racial society that gathered here had to navigate a rigid new world once 1907 hit and the state lines were drawn. Standing here by Grant Foreman’s place... it feels right. He spent his life preserving the stories of the Five Tribes and the pioneers. And now, in a way, you’ve picked up the pen. Like the Foremans, you are now a keeper of Muskogee’s complex, beautiful, and sometimes difficult history. Take care of it.
