We begin at the Riverside County Transportation Commission, then move into places with very different souls: the California Museum of Photography, where light and memory meet; the Main Street Pedestrian Mall, with its easy rhythm and public charm; and, of course, the Mission Inn Hotel and Spa, a place so full of detail it seems to have gathered stories into its walls. By the time we reach the Harada House, you may find the city has become rather more personal.
As you approach each landmark, I will begin speaking automatically, though you may tap play yourself if the audio does not start. If you feel lost at any point, simply look at the map in the app. At every stop, you may ask me questions in the chat section below.
A small practical note: for religious or sensitive stops, do dress appropriately if you plan to step closer or go inside. And while walking, do use crosswalks, stay aware of traffic and cyclists, keep an eye on your belongings, and mind uneven pavement now and then.
If you have not already done so, make your way to the first stop, and let us begin.
