The local schools-Garden City High School and Middle School, Stewart, Stratford, Homestead, Locust, and Hemlock-form a learning network where dreams start as doodles in a notebook and might end up as Nobel Prizes. Each building has seen its share of “aha!” moments, epic gym class victories, and, of course, one or two legendary snowball fights.
