Wow, can you believe it? We’ve reached the end of our adventure together! Standing here at the Hugh Mercer Apothecary, I can’t help but feel a little bit nostalgic. We’ve wandered through history, walked in the footsteps of presidents, generals, and everyday folks, and peeked into places where stories really come alive.
Remember when we started at The Chimneys? It feels like ages ago already! We've seen beautiful churches, old banks, grand homes, and even a school where dreams began. We talked about inventors and war heroes, and even poked fun at history here and there-hey, it wouldn’t be a tour with me if there weren’t a couple of jokes, right?
I hope as you walk away today, you feel a little more connected to Fredericksburg and its people.
