Welcome to El Paso!

headphones 01:57

Picture this: the sun is shining, the Franklin Mountains stand watch in the distance, and the streets are alive with the hum of El Paso’s mix of cultures. Smell that famous borderland breeze? Could be the scent of spicy food, or just your next great adventure!

You’re about to visit 12 amazing stops-places full of art, history, and just a splash of mystery. At the ballpark, we’ll talk home runs and hot dogs (BYO snacks, unfortunately!). At a museum, we might spot artwork that makes you say “wow” or “huh?” Need somewhere timeless for a selfie? Let’s just say the Plaza Theatre’s got you covered.

As you stroll, our app will usually start telling you about landmarks as you get close, but if I’m oddly silent, don’t be shy-hit play! If you get turned around or distracted by a taco truck (happens to the best of us), just peek at the map.

Have random questions? Or want to challenge me with your own trivia? Use the chat below at any stop. If a church or club is on our path (and it is), keep attire respectful-covered shoulders and knees are always best just in case.

A few quick tips: bring water, wear comfy shoes, and watch out for traffic-cars here can be as zippy as the city’s legends. Sunblock is your best friend in this Texas sun, and keep an eye on your stuff-sometimes the only thing quicker than the sunlight is a stray gust of wind.

Ready to get started? If you’re not at Southwest University Park yet, make your way over-I’ll meet you at the gates, full of stories and raring to go! See you at our first stop-let’s make downtown echo with your footsteps and a few good laughs.

format_quote This tour was such a great way to see the city. The stories were interesting without feeling too scripted, and I loved being able to explore at my own pace.

format_quote This was a solid way to get to know Brighton without feeling like a tourist. The narration had depth and context, but didn't overdo it.
