Stop 1 of 14

Welcome to Easton!

headphones 02:14

Imagine cobblestone paths beneath your feet, the salty scent of soft pretzels in the air, and the sounds of the Lehigh and Delaware Rivers flowing nearby. There’s something special around every corner-sometimes it’s awe-inspiring architecture, sometimes it’s the lingering echoes of epic football games (spoiler: at Fisher Stadium, that turf has seen more drama than a soap opera).

As you walk along, don’t worry-the tour will magically start describing each landmark as you approach. If my voice doesn’t pop up right away, you can always tap play yourself. And if your inner compass gets dizzy, the handy map in your app will steer you straight, no mariner’s hat needed.

At each stop, you can scroll down and ask me anything about what you see-seriously, I love questions more than the Marquis de Lafayette loved freedom. And while we’ll stroll past all kinds of buildings, there’s nothing religious or especially sensitive on this tour, so no need for special dress. Just wear comfy shoes, watch for cars when crossing streets (my jokes are killer, but car horns are louder), and keep an eye on your valuables-Easton is friendly, but it’s always good to be mindful wherever you explore.

We’ll travel from championship sports venues to statues of war heroes, from stately mansions to the iconic State Theatre-and don’t even get me started on the scenic walk along the old canal at the grand finale. If you haven’t made your way to Stop 1-the Kirby Sports Center-now’s the perfect time to head over.

Ready? Let’s discover the heartbeat of Easton together. And remember: if you don’t have fun, I’ll have to send the Marquis himself to tickle your funny bone.

Whenever you’re set, just press play-I’ll be right beside you. Let’s get this adventure rolling!

format_quote This tour was such a great way to see the city. The stories were interesting without feeling too scripted, and I loved being able to explore at my own pace.

format_quote This was a solid way to get to know Brighton without feeling like a tourist. The narration had depth and context, but didn't overdo it.
