We’ll be wandering through some of the city’s most inspiring and colorful spots - from the historic halls of Glasgow University Union to the leafy calm of Kelvingrove Park, and even where music is made at CaVa Studios. Expect grand buildings, buzzing street life, a bit of unexpected tranquility, and more than a few stories that might raise an eyebrow (or two).
As you stroll, I’ll pop in with stories about each place as you arrive - but if I ever get shy and don’t start talking automatically, just hit "play!" If you ever feel a little lost - don’t worry, even famous explorers took wrong turns. Just check the map in the app, and you’ll be back on track.
Got questions at any stop? Maybe about that strange building, or the statue with the funny hat? Type away in the chat below, I love a good natter.
Quick note: none of our stops are particularly sensitive or religious, so dress however you like - sensible shoes are always a good call, though! Glasgow weather can be as changeable as your favourite playlist - one minute sun, the next minute rain. So, maybe pop a wee jacket in your bag, just in case.
Walking in Glasgow is generally safe and people are famously friendly - but watch out for speedy cyclists and mind your step if you’re crossing the busy roads. Oh, and if you hear the words “fancy a chippy?” - someone might just be inviting you for some of the city’s best chips!
So, if you haven’t already, make your way to our very first stop: the grand and spirited Glasgow University Union. Take a deep breath - the old city around you is buzzing with history, music, and more than a few secrets. Ready to see Glasgow in a whole new light? Let’s go!
