Well, here we are at the Radu Stanca National Theatre. Our final stop. You made it. Twelve stops, a whole lot of cobblestones, and several centuries of history later.
Take a moment and look back the way we came. It feels a little different now, does it not? When we started at that quirky little pharmacy, maybe this city was just a pretty picture to you. But now... well, now you know its secrets.
You stood under the massive spire of the Evangelical Cathedral and took in the view from the Council Tower. You met the old defenders at the Carpenters' Tower and the Potters' Tower. We wandered past the grand art of the Brukenthal National Museum, the fascinating records at the History Museum of Sibiu, and the quiet traditions kept safe by Emil Sigerus and Franz Binder. And of course, we survived the judging gaze of those famous rooftop eyes across the historic center. I like to think they were winking at us.
Sibiu really does have a way of getting under your skin. It is not just about the old bricks, or nodding politely at the bust of Emperor Francis the First. It is about the life lived between these walls. The healers, the craftsmen, the actors... the ordinary people who built a world right here, century after century.
I have genuinely enjoyed sharing these stories with you. Walking these streets... it reminds you that the past is never really gone. It is just waiting for someone to come along and listen.
Now, you have walked a very long way today, and your feet are probably politely asking for a break. So go find a cafe, sit back, and just let Sibiu happen around you for a while. You have definitely earned it.
My name is Adam. Thank you for trusting me to show you around. Wherever the road takes you next... travel well, and take care.
