And just like that, our journey through Eilendorf comes to an end. I have to say, it’s been a real pleasure strolling with you from stop to stop-almost like we were unraveling a story, piece by piece. You’ve discovered old churches, sculptures, crosses, and even heard a couple of my pretty good jokes along the way-I hope I managed to get at least one smile.
We wandered through quiet corners, met past and present side by side, and soaked in the spirit of this part of Aachen that many people just pass by. It’s strange how, after sharing these places, they don’t feel like ordinary streets anymore. Every stone and statue tells a little more about the people who lived, loved, and built this community.
