I hope you’ve laced up some comfy shoes, because we’ll stroll through leafy boulevards, listen to the seagulls chatting overhead, and discover stories hiding just behind the historic gardens and grand old buildings. Imagine the history you’re about to walk through-sometimes spooky, often surprising, and occasionally even a little bit silly (I promise, my jokes only add to the experience).
The adventure kicks off at Confederation Garden Court: a spot bursting with flowers and whispers of Canada’s past. We’ll wander to grand statues, mysterious memorials, and even end up where totem poles tell stories that reach back far longer than any building around us.
Here’s how things work: as you approach each landmark, I’ll pop up and start sharing stories right in your ear. If the audio doesn’t start on its own, just tap the play button. Stuck or taken a wrong turn? The app’s map is your best friend-check it anytime. And if you get curious (or want to tell me my last joke was a groaner), hit up the chat below at every stop.
Don’t worry about a dress code-none of our stops require special clothing. But do keep an eye on your step; sometimes James Bay’s sidewalks are a little bumpy, and a friendly squirrel or a runaway leaf might want to join our tour. Watch for bike traffic, cross at the lights, and keep one eye out for tourists taking more photos than you.
If you haven’t already, make your way to our first stop: Confederation Garden Court. Take a deep breath, listen for the hum of history, and let’s make today a story you’ll want to retell. Ready? Off we go!
