Here’s how our adventure works: You’ll know you’ve made it to a stop when I start chatting in your ear about what’s in front of you. If the audio doesn’t start by itself, just use the play button-you’re in control! Feeling a bit turned around? No worries, the map in your app is your trusty compass (no need for a pirate hat, but I won’t judge if you wear one). At every stop, if you want to know more, just ask me a question in the chat. No tongue twisters, I promise.
There are 17 stops today-don’t worry, you don’t need to do push-ups at each one. We’ll pass historic theaters, sip bubble tea, stand in the shade of cherry blossoms, and maybe even hear the echoes of old jazz music near the Panama Hotel. We’ll uncover secrets and true stories, and maybe even a ghost or two… After all, what’s a tour called “Stories, Sips, and Spirits” without a little spirit?
There aren’t any religious or sensitive sites on this tour, so dress comfortably for walking and, if it’s Seattle, a little possible drizzle (umbrellas always make stylish accessories here). Hold onto your bag, cross streets carefully, and be aware of bikes, cars, and-if you’re lucky-a few friendly pigeons.
Ready to get started? If you haven’t already, make your way to our very first stop-the historic Nippon Kan Theatre, where the adventure begins! Can you hear that? It’s the city calling your name. Let’s go explore!
