Wow, what an adventure we’ve had today! From the grand Union Station at the start all the way to the graceful Mayes-Hutton House, we’ve wandered through stories, met the faces of the past, and let ourselves imagine what life was like in these streets and buildings.
I hope you found a few favorites along the way-maybe one of the houses made you pause and smile, or perhaps the old Courthouse made you wonder about the people who once gathered there, making big decisions in the heart of Columbia. Each stop was like a new chapter, and together we built quite the book of memories.
Maybe along the walk, your feet got a little tired, but your curiosity only grew stronger. That’s the magic of exploring-there’s always something more around the next corner. And hey, if you remember just one quirky story or poke fun at my excellent tour-guide jokes with your friends later, I’ll call that a win!
So, as you carry on with your day, take a bit of Highland Park with you. Remember how these buildings stand tall through sunshine and rain, and so can you. Thank you for joining me. Until our next adventure-keep wandering, keep wondering, and don’t forget to have a little fun every step of the way!
