And just like that, we’ve reached the end of our Exeter adventure! Wow, what a journey it’s been - from ancient cathedrals to castles, war memorials to the mysterious House That Moved, and even a theatre encore. At every stop, you walked in the footsteps of history, and I hope you felt the stories of Exeter come alive. If these old walls could talk, I bet they’d say, “Thank you for listening!”
As we say goodbye, I want you to remember that you’ve wandered through centuries today. You’ve seen sights that have witnessed love, laughter, battles, and even a little confusion (honestly, how did they move that house?) It’s hard not to feel a little nostalgic, right? But also, hopefully, a bit inspired-Exeter may be old, but it’s a city that’s always changing and always welcoming explorers like you.
Thank you for letting me guide you, joke with you, and share these special places. I hope Exeter has left a mark on your heart-just as it’s left plenty beneath your feet! Until our next adventure together, keep wandering, keep wondering, and don’t forget to look up… you never know when you’ll see a gargoyle smiling back.
Take care, happy travels, and goodbye for now!
