We’re about to explore Dundee, a city that blends history, creativity, and science like a perfect cup of tea (or maybe a strong Scottish coffee, if you’re feeling bold). You’ll feel the vibe of buzzing streets, catch a whiff of local bakeries, and maybe even hear the distant beat of live music. Prepare for grand halls, secret alleyways, and some truly mind-bending art-plus a dash of science so cool, even your socks might get knocked off.
Our adventure will take us from the music-filled LiveHouse Dundee to the mighty Caird Hall, alongside cathedrals and quirky museums-stopping at all points in between, including the magical Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design. At each landmark, I’ll pop in your ear with stories and surprises as soon as you arrive. But hey, if the audio gets a little shy, you can always tap “play” to hear me spill the Dundee beans!
Lost? Check out the handy map right in your app-no need to ask a passing seagull for directions. And if you have questions or want deeper stories, just chat with me below each stop. I'm always here-rain or shine (and in Dundee, you might get a little of both in the same hour).
A quick friendly reminder: when we visit religious spaces like St Paul’s Cathedral or the Diocese of Brechin, it's best to dress respectfully-shoulders and knees covered, if you can swing it. Safety-wise, watch out for busy roads, keep your valuables snug, and mind those occasional seagull raids (trust me, those birds have ambition).
If you haven’t already, make your way to our first stop: the LiveHouse Dundee. I’ll meet you there, ready to kick off our journey with music, stories, and a few terrible jokes. Are you ready to see Dundee through new eyes? Let’s begin-meet me at the start when you’re ready!
