And just like that, we’ve reached the end of our adventure together! What a journey it’s been-full of old stones, quirky stories, and more history than you can shake a stick at (though I hope you didn’t actually shake a stick at anything-these places prefer gentle visitors).
We started with ancient churches, peeked into museums bursting with treasures, wandered through castle grounds, and took in the sights and sounds of Colchester’s lively streets. We laughed, we learned, and we might’ve even made a few friendly ghosts jealous with our curiosity!
Thanks for letting me walk by your side (well, in your ear, at least). I hope you leave today with pockets full of memories and a heart just a little bit lighter. And remember: if walls could talk, I think these Colchester walls are now a little hoarse from all the stories we squeezed out of them.
