Now, picture yourself in the winding streets of La Seu: You hear laughter drifting from outdoor cafés, catch a whiff of fresh orange blossoms, and feel the Mediterranean sun warming the ancient walls. Around every corner lies a marvel-maybe a golden-tipped cathedral today, perhaps a hidden palace tomorrow.
You’ll start at the grand Palace of the Generalitat, then jump back in time at the Queen’s Square, and peek inside the city’s mysterious past at various palaces and cathedrals. I don’t want to spoil all the surprises-you’ll find plenty of those as we go! Just know that if you see a bell tower looming or ancient crests peeking from the façades, you’re headed in the right direction.
How does it work? As you walk up to each landmark, I’ll start chatting away in your ear automatically (unless I get shy-then you might need to tap play yourself). Lost your way? No big deal! Just use the handy map in this app and you’ll be back on track faster than you can say “paella.” Got questions? Fire away in the chat below. I love a good challenge.
A couple of quick tips: At stops like Valencia Cathedral or the Archbishop’s Palace, it’s a good idea to dress modestly-no beachwear or tank tops, please! Otherwise, comfy shoes are a must, watch out for bikes zipping by, and beware the occasional seagull with impressive aim.
If you’re not already at our first stop, the Palace of the Generalitat, now’s the time to head there. Ready? Let’s step back in time together and let La Seu reveal its magic. Our adventure begins now-let’s go!
