Imagine it: the scent of orange blossom drifting on the warm breeze, the sound of distant guitar strings mixing with laughter and horseshoes on the cobbled stones. Seville’s Casco Antiguo is alive with history, hidden stories, and art waiting for your curious footsteps. As we wander from up-tempo flamenco at the museum, into shaded alleyways and splendid churches, get ready for some “wow,” some “how,” and probably a few “oh, that’s why!”
Here’s how it works: As you stroll Seville’s old heart, I’ll begin each story as you approach each landmark. But if the ghosts of the city start whispering before I do, just tap play yourself! Lost? No worries-check your app’s map anytime. Each stop is marked, but if centuries-old twists and turns get the best of you, I promise I won’t laugh. (Okay, maybe a little.)
You can chat with me at every stop-ask as many questions as you like, and I’ll spill every historical bean I’ve got. A heads-up: We’ll visit several active churches, so it’s best to wear top-covering clothing out of respect, especially at those stops. I’d hate for you to meet a nun’s stern look-those are scarier than any local legend!
One more thing before we dive in-watch out for those cobblestones, especially in Casco Antiguo. The winding alleys are charming but tricky, and local drivers have the stealth of cats. Keep an eye on your belongings-it’s a busy area, and we want your phone to enjoy all 12 stops, too!
If you haven’t already, the adventure begins at the Flamenco Dance Museum. Head there now, and when you’re ready, we’ll start our journey through Sevilla’s melodies, myths, and masterpieces-you supply the footsteps, I’ll provide the stories. Let’s make some memories you’ll want to dance about!
