And just like that, we've reached the end of our Cork city adventure! Take a look around-feel that breeze coming off the river? That’s not just fresh Irish air, that’s the feeling of a day well spent.
Remember our first stop at the English Market, full of delicious smells and friendly chatter? We strolled through history at Grand Parade and Christ Church, found a quiet patch of green in Bishop Lucey Park, and admired the beautiful spires of Holy Trinity Church. We laughed down South Mall, wandered lively Oliver Plunkett Street, crossed busy Parnell Place, and ended right here at Lapp’s Island, with the city shining all around us.
You didn’t just walk through Cork today-you lived a piece of its story. I hope you felt the city’s warmth, heard its whispers and giggles tucked down each street, and maybe found yourself smiling for no reason at all. Our time together might be finished, but Cork’s charm will stick with you-like a bit of chocolate you find in your pocket later.
Thank you for letting me be part of your journey. Walk on with a light step, and remember: the world is full of surprises-just like Cork. Until next time!
