On this tour, we’ll uncover stories behind gems like the Church of Saint-Médard, glide over the Chouan Bridge, and stand in awe before the grand Castle of the Dukes of the Tremoille. There are 9 stops in all, and I’ll start telling you about each place as you arrive. Small note: Some stops, like the churches, are sensitive spaces. It’s wise to dress modestly-think shoulders and knees covered, just in case you wander inside. Otherwise, sturdy footwear is your best friend-the old town has charming-but sometimes slippery-cobblestones. Watch your step, especially after a drizzle!
