I’m Andy, your friendly digital tour guide for the day-think of me as your buddy who knows way too much about Nice but still manages to crack a decent joke or two! We’ll be wandering from grand basilicas to leafy gardens, from historic bridges to monuments with tales taller than the palm trees. One minute you’ll be marveling at the stunning Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption, and soon after, you’ll find yourself where history got... well, a bit explosive during a siege (don’t worry-the cannons are just for decoration now).

A quick word to the wise: since we’ll visit some religious sites, today’s the day to leave your beachwear in your bag and cover up those shoulders and knees, especially inside places of worship. Nice is a pretty safe city during the day, but keep your belongings close-don’t let pickpockets steal your souvenirs before you buy them! Watch out for cyclists, mopeds, and the occasional pigeon with questionable aim.
