We’ll start outside the Toussaint Media Library, where silence is golden (unless you’re with me, of course). Along the way, you’ll stroll under leafy boulevards, stand before centuries-old abbeys - some more peaceful than a Sunday nap-and pass by homes that look like they’ve squeezed themselves into a size too small for them. You might even find yourself gawking at a mansion once fit for royalty-or at least someone who liked gold wallpaper.
Here’s how we roll: as you approach each landmark, I’ll pop in and start chatting in your ear about what makes it special. If, for some reason, I get shy and don’t start, just hit play on the app. In case you start feeling like you’re in the wrong century-or street-the app’s map will point you in the right direction.
At each stop, you can tap questions into the chat below. Curious about cathedral secrets? Want to know what’s growing at the plant variety office? I love questions, so ask away!
Please remember Angers is a living city: sometimes a little noisy, sometimes full of bicycles that appear out of nowhere. Watch your step, mind the traffic, and don’t get so swept up by the views that you miss a passing baguette-and keep an eye on your belongings in crowded areas. A heads-up: we will pass a couple of religious buildings, so please dress with a little modesty-just enough so you wouldn’t get scolded by a monk with a measuring tape.
And if you haven’t already, head on over to the Toussaint Media Library to kick things off. Ready? Let’s see what secrets, stories, and surprises Angers has in store for us!
