And just like that, here we are at the end of our journey together through Agen! Wow, what a day. We started in the cool shadow of the Church of Sainte-Foy and made our way from ancient stones to grand cathedrals, from art-filled halls to secret corners of history-even standing outside the old prison (don’t worry, I checked, the doors are still locked).
You’ve walked the same streets that people have roamed for hundreds of years. We wondered at beautiful churches, peeked at priceless art, and felt the heartbeat of this city, one stop at a time. Perhaps you found yourself laughing at a silly story, or taking a quiet moment outside one of the grand old buildings as sunlight danced across the stone. Each place gave us a different piece of Agen, and together, we made a whole patchwork of memories.
I hope you feel not just like a visitor passing by, but like someone who’s discovered a bit more magic in the world. Maybe one day you’ll return-or maybe the stories you’ve heard today will inspire your own adventures.
Thank you for letting me be your guide-your walking buddy, your history comedian. You brought the city to life just by being here. Wherever your next step takes you, may you walk with the same curiosity and joy you had today.
Farewell for now, traveler. And remember: every city hides a few surprises for those who wander with open hearts. Safe travels-and watch out for rogue pigeons with a taste for adventure (or snacks)!
