Picture this: salty sea air, the echo of foghorns, and the distant calls of gulls overhead. You’re standing at the edge of Canada’s oldest incorporated city, about to dive into bustling markets, grand old buildings, and even a few spots where you just might want to whisper-like the regal Masonic Temple. I promise, I only give ghost stories if you ask!
There are 14 stops all together, but we’ll take it one at a time. At some stops, you’ll feel the energy of the markets; at others, maybe the hush of history in the air. Getting lost? No worries! Just peek at the map in the app and it’ll show you the way. If you get to a landmark and nothing seems to happen, give the play button a friendly tap. Technology, am I right? Sometimes even a virtual guide needs a poke.
At each stop, you’ll see a chat section below-if I say something and you think, “Andy, what on earth are you talking about?” just ask! I love questions.
A quick note: We will pass by the Saint John Masonic Temple-while you’re outside, there’s no need for special dress, but as always, be respectful near religious or ceremonial sites.
And while Saint John is storytelling central, make sure you stay alert as you stroll: the sidewalks can be old and uneven, there are a few hills to climb (this place likes to keep your calves in shape), and Canadian weather loves to keep you guessing. So watch your step, mind the traffic, and maybe tuck a rain jacket into your bag-just in case!
If you haven’t already, make your way to our first stop, TD Station, and let the adventure unfold. Ready for some legends, laughs, and fresh sea air? Let’s set off!
